Upcoming Litters
Ultrasound confirmed.Due: Mid-November 2026Hrefna x Sigur
Hrefna is my foundation girl from Pikatti Icelandics, and she his everything an Icelandic Sheepdog should be. She is sturdy, confident, incredibly versatile, friendly, and loves to work and play. She is titled in multiple venues and sports and has produced some really OUTSTANDING puppies. This will be her final litter and truly something special.
Sigur is a happy and loving boy from Hjarta Icelandics in California. He has a strong and genetically diverse pedigree that includes some lovely short coated dogs and a gorgeous grandsire from Denmark. Sigur has matured very nicely and is extremely biddable and social.
I expect this pairing to produce some beautiful dogs who are up for anything! They will excel in sports and likely do well in the show ring. They will be confident with a taste for adventure and teamwork. This pairing is also very low on inbreeding and genetically rare across the breed.
Planned Breeding:Winter 2026-27Carina x Manaskin
Carina is all grown up! She has grown into such a beautiful young lady and an absolutely incredible example of the Icelandic Sheepdog breed. She is happy, loving, friendly, energetic, and extremely versatile. She trains and competes in Conformation, Rally, FastCAT, and agility. She also trains in ScentWork but has yet to compete. She loves everyone she meets while still being extremely connected to her family and people she knows. She lives with and gets along well with other dogs. Carina is extremely athletic and thrives with a healthy dose of physical activity, loving adventure and hiking.
Manaskin is a handsome male who resides in Denmark. I will be breeding Carina with his frozen semen. This pairing is expected to increase genetic diversity in the United States, while reducing the high white content we stumbled into with Carina. Manaskin is very level-headed, gets along with many other dogs and lives with multiple males without issue, and competes with success in both Conformation and scent sports.
From this pairing, I am expecting lovely dogs with good substance and breed type, solidly confident temperaments, and versatility to achieve whatever you wish! They will likely excel at sports with plenty of drive and energy. Puppies will be sable, black tricolor, or cream.
