Snorri is happy to meet every dog and immediately matches/determines the other dog’s play style. He’s gentler with older dogs and more rambunctious with younger dogs. He’s had dogs in “his” house and he’s not territorial. He’s also visited other dogs’ houses and been a great guest.

Heather & Carina - Kentucky“Carina is exactly the dog I wanted. I asked for a dog that was high energy and “crazy”. I don’t really even think she is crazy, but she is a lot of dog and some people would not be able to satisfy her need for exercise and mental stimulation. Carina is willing to snuggle, but she wants something fun to do to fill her days as well.
I think that Carina is very versatile and we are going to have so many opportunities to try different things because she is so open to giving everything a try. Carina is overall very driven, smart, versatile, happy, opinionated, and fun. She is a very good ambassador for the Icelandic breed. I feel like she is everything she should be and more. Carina has opened me up to a new breed of dog that I hope will be a part of the rest of my life.”

Gabrielle & Viva - Kelowna“Adding another dog to our household was a big decision. After experiencing health issues with our other dogs, our priority this time was finding a well-bred dog. I didn’t realize until I spoke with Kayla that what I needed wasn’t just a dog with solid genetics and structure, but also a breeder with the knowledge and skill to give the puppies an amazing foundation. Kayla has been a wealth of information from day one. She has been patient, understanding, and happy to answer even the most absurd questions. She shared regular updates on the puppies and I was amazed at the experiences she gave the puppies before they left to their forever homes.
I was matched with Viva (Ronja x Kylo) and Kayla made the perfect choice for me. Viva is lively, confident, and the happiest critter. I participate in a lot of performance activities and I wanted a do-anything dog. Viva is exactly that. She’s earned trick, shed antler hunting, Barn Hunt, Happy Ratters, and scent detection titles in her first year with me. She’s also participated in canine racing and disc trials. She attends fitness/conditioning, rally obedience, herding, and agility lessons. I didn’t plan on participating in conformation, but decided to try it on a whim. Turns out Viva enjoys any opportunity to shine and wowed us all with a Group 4 placement at her very first show. She gets along beautifully with my other three dogs and she also loves “helping” with the farm chores, including doing daily inspections of the llamas and sheep. She is happy to be busy, but also has an incredible off-switch and is content to sleep on the floor of my office while I work.
As for Kayla, she’s every bit as communicative and supportive now as she was when I first reached out to her about a puppy. She’s always available to answer questions and offers excellent puppy-raising tips. I feel so lucky to have such an incredible breeder who not only gave Viva the most spectacular upbringing, but who also continues to be a valuable source of support and our biggest cheerleader.”
